"Dubai has landed in Bradford", according to one well-known food reviewer.
Danny Malin, the prior host of RateMyTakeaway, made the claim following a visit to Frangoz, on Leeds Road.
The fast-food restaurant serves burgers, chicken wings, fries and now, mini burgers inspired by a popular Dubai food trend.
Mr Malin, known for his food reviews on YouTube, visited the restaurant to sample its Dubai-inspired mini burgers, chicken burgers and pistachio-flavoured desserts.
He said: "Somebody told me that Dubai has landed in Bradford.
"Apparently, at this place – Frangoz, on Leeds Road.
"They are doing little mini Dubai dip burgers, which you can dip in a pot of cheese."
Mr Malin started his review with the honey chicken burgers and fries before moving on to the Dubai mini burgers and dessert selection.
He said: "Oh my days.
"It's a cheese fest.
"Oh wow.
"That packs a punch.
"That is absolutely beautiful.
"It's a saucy number with that mayo coming through.
"The chicken fillet is soft.
"It's got a beautiful crisp outer layer to it, but that sauce has a smokiness, a tanginess to it.
"The barbecue honey sauce is nice and sweet."
He also praised the flavour profile of the meat.
He said: "Usually stir-fried meat is in like a red tikka sauce.
"But this has got a sweetness as soon as you first put it in your mouth, and then an after-spice kicks in."
Turning to the Dubai-inspired mini burgers, Danny said: "This is what got my attention.
"Dubai mini burgers.
"Look at that nice soft butter brioche.
"The beef, the smashed patty tastes absolutely amazing.
"It's quality, and there's pickles in there – you can taste them coming through."
For dessert, he tried the Kunafa Dubai pistachio ice cream.
He said: "This is a Kunafa Dubai pistachio ice cream.
"That's nice.
"Like pistachio chocolate.
"That's what I think it is, anyway.
"Oh, the ice cream is very creamy."
Reflecting on his visit, Danny reserved special praise for the burgers and chicken burger sauce.
He said: "The burger flavours were absolutely fantastic.
"That sauce with that chicken, a nice chicken fillet in a deep-fried crumb.
"It's sweet, it's smoky and it's got a little after-tang."
He said: "I'd call this the ultimate 'taking you back to childhood' food."
The T&A attempted to get in touch with Frangoz on numerous occasions, but they did not provide us with a response.
