A Strictly Come Dancing judge’s low score has sparked a backlash from viewers who believe it was too harsh.
Craig Revel Horwood awarded just two points to former footballer Shaun Wright-Phillips for his cha cha cha on the first live show of the series, which aired on Saturday.
Mr Wright-Phillips performed to Lil Boo Thang by Paul Russell, but received mixed reviews from the judging panel.
Motsi Mabuse told him not to be shy and encouraged him to “fake it until you make it and feel the joy.”
Anton Du Beke said: "You were great, you were absolutely charming."
However, Mr Revel Horwood was far less forgiving.
He said: "I think it’s going to be a few more weeks until you reach pro level.
"That’s all I have to say."
Viewers were quick to react on social media, with one calling the score “A 2 is so mean.”

Despite the low mark, Mr Wright-Phillips took the feedback in good humour, joking that he would “take that” before running off to the Clauditorium.
He finished the night with a total score of 15.
The new series of Strictly Come Dancing features 15 celebrity contestants.
The judging panel, with Mr Revel Horwood, is joined by Motsi Mabuse, Anton Du Beke, and head judge Shirley Ballas.
The show opened with a group performance from the professional dancers and judges.
