Strictly Come Dancing viewers have all shared the same complaint just moments into the 2026 first live show.
The 2026 series officially kicked off with its first live show, seeing 15 new celebrities take to the famous dance floor.
Saturday’s live show opened with a performance from the Strictly professionals and judges, Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Anton Du Beke and Shirley Ballas.
However, despite the glitz and glam, viewers were not happy to see a change in the opening titles, which one Strictly fan branded "awful".

The 2026 series saw a new title sequence, with this year's colour scheme changing to purple and pink and a slight change in the music.
But Strictly viewers at home do not seem very happy with the title update.
As one fan wrote on X, "The titles are awful..."
Another person said, "PLEASE go back to the original intro."

A third Strictly viewer shared, "Hate the new opening titles #strictly if it’s not broke, don’t fix it."
The new titles are not the only change for Strictly this year, with the biggest in new hosting trio, Josh Widdicombe, Emma Willis and Johannes Radebe.

Strictly viewers also had some thoughts on the new hosts, as one person said, "I’ll say it again, Emma is perfect for this role!
"But Johannes and Josh need to go... just doesn’t work, really doesn’t need 3 presenters."
Another fan wrote, "Uncontroversial opinion is that all the presenters are fine individually but three on camera at once is too many."
