A ‘must-visit’ north east bakery that offers freshly baked pastries and ‘impressive’ sandwiches could be the perfect spot to visit this autumn.
If you are looking for a cosy spot to shelter from the colder autumn weather, you might want to try Koselig.
Koselig has three locations across the north east in Saltburn-by-the-Sea, Guisborough, and Stokesley.
What is Koselig like?
All of the pastries are baked every day using traditional methods and high-quality ingredients.
The café offers a range of sweet treats from cherry streusel cheesecake brioche and pastries topped with blackberries, cardamom, and vanilla to a simple chocolate and sea salt pain Suisse.
The café’s website says: “While you sit back and enjoy your favourite bake along with our delicious Fika coffee, watch us create the bakes you love in our open plan kitchen.
“Our simple scandi inspired decor provides a cozy, comfortable space to unwind or catch up with friends.”
Alongside your regular coffees, you can also get lots of specials like the tiramisu iced latte, pumpkin spiced iced chai, and a hazelnut cruffin hot chocolate for something really indulgent.
You can also get sandwiches made using sourdough focaccia and pick up some fresh bread every Saturday on bread day.
