Hundreds of office furniture manufacturing machines are up for grabs in a major online auction.
More than 300 lots are being sold from Elite Office Furniture’s former site on Brittania Way in Goole, following the company’s move to a new 300,000 sq ft facility off Rawcliffe Road.
The vacated equipment includes surplus joinery, fabrication and engineering machinery, as well as powder coating, finishing, and storage handling equipment.
Joel Carroll, asset advisory specialist at Walker Singleton, the firm overseeing the auction, said: "It is a pleasure to work alongside Elite Office Furniture’s production director, Rob Clarke, and his team on this asset sale.
- Furniture firm boss is named as top director
- Liquidated North Yorkshire medical firm owes nearly £100,000
- Former Manchester United marketer to keynote York festival
"Their sheer attention to detail, commitment to quality and the pride they take in their work is also reflected in the plant and machinery.
"There has been no expense spared in the specification, service intervals and routine cleaning.

"It is this provenance that will present the marketplace with the confidence to purchase quality machines with immediate availability."
Elite Office Furniture’s relocation to the new facility is part of its wider strategic growth plans.
The company has invested in new CNC machinery at the new site, making the existing equipment available for sale.
Walker Singleton, a Yorkshire-based asset advisory firm, is managing the disposal process.
The sale features premium machines from global brands including Homag, Weeke, Selco, Amada, Prima Power, and Gama.
Mr Carroll said: "Our commitment to the auction process will make the journey as smooth as possible.
"This will range from the virtual tours provided to the structured release of assets overseen by my colleague, project manager David Jagger, and his team.
"We are all looking forward to working with the successful buyers and their contractors to provide them with the excellent assets available for sale."
The auction is now live and will run until Thursday, October 22.
Walker Singleton will host four separate disposal sales, with closing dates spanning from early October through to the final auction date.
All items can be viewed online, and interested parties are encouraged to register, place bids, and arrange inspections or site visits.
Elite Office Furniture’s move to the new facility is designed to boost production capacity and support ongoing growth.
