CAROLINE Street is set for a temporary closure due to gas works.
Bradford Council announced the closure will extend from the junction with Albert Road to Victoria Road, starting at 8am on September 28.
The road will remain closed until 5pm on November 13, although the closure can stay in place for up to 18 months if required.
The shutdown won't affect vehicles working on the road section, and pedestrian access will be upheld throughout.
Alternative routes for drivers include the unaffected section of Caroline Street, Victoria Road, Saltaire Road, Bingley Road, Hirst Lane, and Dallam Avenue.
The move comes as part of road traffic regulation measures under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Section 14.
