HILL Top Road in Thornton will shut temporarily for five days next week.
The closure will be in place from the road's junction with West Lane to its junction with Long Row.

The closure will be in force from 8am on September 28 to 5pm on October 2, although the council said it could be in place for longer "if necessary".
Only vehicles working on the telecommunication works will be able to use the closed stretch of road, but pedestrian access will be maintained.
Drivers will be diverted via Hill Top Road (unaffected section), West Lane, Lower Heights Road, Rock Lane, Back Heights Road, and Half Acre Road.
