Vintage vehicle enthusiasts packed out Bishop Auckland on Saturday as dozens of classic cars took over the town centre for its annual heritage festival.
Crowds gathered around an impressive display of classic vehicles in the marketplace.
The free event on Saturday, September 26, was part of the fourth Bishop Auckland Heritage Festival, celebrating the people, places and stories that shaped the town and wider County Durham.

Many enthusiasts could be seen lifting bonnets and inviting people to take a closer look at the engines and craftsmanship that have helped keep the vehicles on the road for decades.
A wide range of classic cars from different eras were on display, attracting people of all ages to the marketplace throughout the afternoon.
