A fundraiser for the family of a 'murdered' Darlington care worker has raised more than £5,000.
The amount has been raised in just 18 hours for the family of Leanne, who was found dead in a flat above The Greyhound pub on Parkgate on Wednesday (September 23).
A GoFundMe appeal for her family has raised £5,223 since it was set up by Natasha Nicholson.

She wrote: "As a community, we want to come together to support Leanne's family at this devastating time. We are raising funds to support the family through this difficult time and to provide for any additional needs the family may have as they navigate this heartbreaking loss.
"Every contribution, no matter how small, will help ease the burden and allow them the space to grieve without further worry.
"Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and compassion. Together, we can show them they are not alone. With heartfelt thanks."
Two men have been arrested after police were called to the scene at around 9.15pm.
A 44-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder, while a 27-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
Police remain at the scene today, Friday, September 25, with a cordon still in place and white-suited CSI officers seen working inside.
