The route takes runners along the Cleveland Way coast path, finishing in Filey.

This year, conditions were described as "fine and dry", however, there were strong winds throughout the course.

Of the 164 runners, 46 did not make it to the finish line.

On Sunday, Pickering Running Club took part in the Fryup Frazzler, the final race of the Summer Fell Race Series.

This race had a six-mile-long course and an elevation of 1,500 feet and was described as having "extreme winds".

Despite this, Pickering Running Club had a "good turnout" and collected a "plethora of prizes".

Dave Smith was the first back for Pickering Running Club, finishing the course in 51 minutes and 51 seconds, which placed him first in the M55 category.
