A BRADFORD park will host a ska and reggae festival on Saturday.

Pop up arts and performance venue The Beacon is currently in Wibsey Park, and on August 29th the Bradford's Windrush ska and reggae festival will be held at the venue.

The day will feature live bands, top DJs and Caribbean food.

The event is described as “An authentic Windrush ska, bluebeat, rocksteady, reggae and calypso experience, with Caribbean music from live bands, singers, musicians and DJs, plus Caribbean cuisine.”

Acts performing at the event include

  • Selah Sounds
  • DJ Big Jeff George
  • Calving G
  • Amanda.

All play ska, rocksteady, bluebeat, reggae, calypso. Food vendor Flavour Cravers will serve the best in Caribbean food during the evening.

The event starts at 7pm, and tickets cost £9.
