A Darlington man has admitted taking part in a robbery at a petrol filling station near Durham in which alcohol was stolen.
But defendant Sean Taylor must wait until a co-accused appears at court facing the same allegation, next month, before he learns his fate.
Taylor appeared at Durham Crown Court on Wednesday (August 26) via video link from Holme House Prison, Stockton, where he is detained on remand.
He is accused of jointly, with an accomplice, committing the robbery at the Esso station, in Dragonville, on the outskirts of Durham, on Tuesday, July 28, this year.

Taylor is also alleged to have subsequently assaulted two police officers in the execution of their duty, on the same day.
The 36-year-old defendant pleaded guilty to all three charges.
His counsel, Michele Turner, said a Probation Service background report was prepared prior to a recent case involving the defendant.
She asked for that report to be updated before the defendant is sentenced.
Imogen Eastham-Brown, prosecuting, said a co-accused is due before the court, in four weeks.
Judge Richard Clews said it would make sense for the defendant to appear back at court on the same date that his alleged accomplice makes his first appearance.
Taylor, of Beaumont Street West, Darlington, was remanded to remain in custody until the next hearing, when his co-accused should also be appearing, on Monday, September 21.
