Egton Show: Best pictures from 135th agricultural show in pretty Yorkshire village

The weather may have turned slightly this week – but the sun was still shining on one of Yorkshire’s agricultural shows this week.

The 135th Egton Show took place on Wednesday (Aug 26) in the pretty village in the North York Moors National Park.

As ever, there was a wide range of animal attractions for all the family, from rabbits and cows to sheep and horses, as well as trade stalls, a fairground and plenty of refreshments.

The Egton Show is run by a dedicated team of voluntary committee members.

We sent photographer James Hardisty along to capture the best of the action.
