Fire crews were called to an incident in a York suburb last night.
Acomb firefighters responded to a fire in the open in the Boroughbridge Road area at6.40pm.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “The fire was out on arrival of fire crews.

“Crew confirmed a small fire had occurred in scrubland, affecting an area of approximately one square metre. Police informed.”
