Three lanes of the M62 westbound have been closed due to a spillage.
Lanes two, three and four are shut off between J26 (Bradford) and J25 (Brighouse), causing delays of half an hour and three miles of congested traffic.
The spillage has not yet been identified.
What have National Highways said?
National Highways said: "Lanes 2, 3 and 4 (of 4) are closed on the M62 westbound between J26 (Bradford) and J25 (Brighouse) due to a spillage.
"There are delays of 30 minutes and 3 miles of congestion on the approach.
"Clean up crews are en route to scene."
