Almost a dozen drivers were caught speeding in less than an hour during a police speed watch.
The operation took place on Tuesday at Flappit Spring in Cullingworth, following complaints raised by residents at a recent village council meeting.
West Yorkshire Police said: "A speed watch was carried out yesterday at Flappit Spring, Cullingworth.
"This was in response to recent resident complaints raised at Cullingworth village Council meeting.
"From 5.15pm to 6pm there were 11 vehicles caught exceeding the 30mph.
"These were two at 35mph, one at 36mph, three at 37mph, two at 38mph, two at 39mph and one at 42mph.
"We will continue to monitor the speeds in this area."
Police regularly carry out speed checks in response to community concerns about road safety.
