A ROAD on the motorway has reopened after an offal spillage this morning.
It occurred on the westbound M62 at 4.33am, forcing the closure of the slip road to the M606 near Bradford.
In a post on X, National Highways said: "All lanes are now open at the M62 westbound Junction 26 exit slip onto Chain Bar Interchange.
"Currently there are no significant delays on the approach."
Crews cleared the offal through the morning rush hour.
The closure affected traffic heading towards Chain Bar and the M606.
Drivers were warned of delays during the morning rush hour.
A National Highways spokesperson confirmed at 10am that the M62 had reopened.
The spokesperson said all M62 lanes had reopened, but the slip road was still reportedly "not safe enough" at 10am because of the slippery offal.
However, all routes in the area have now reopened.
The Telegraph & Argus has also received reports of another offal spill in Brighouse.
People were warned to avoid Denholmegate Road near Westcroft Lane and the Hipperholme crossroads.
