One of the world’s most celebrated brass bands is set to return to North Yorkshire next year.
The Black Dyke Band will perform at The Garden Rooms at Tennants in Leyburn on Saturday, March 20, promising an evening of traditional and contemporary brass music.
Hailing from Yorkshire, the band has captivated audiences for more than 170 years and is widely regarded as one of the most successful and influential brass ensembles in history.
John O’Brien, secretary of the Black Dyke Band, said: "The world's most famous brass band, Black Dyke is delighted to make a return visit to the Garden Rooms at Tennants.
"The only brass band to have a No.1 album in the official Classical Music chart, the only brass band to have appeared on the Pyramid stage at Glastonbury, and is also a highlight of the 2026 BBC Promenade Concerts at the Royal Albert Hall, the pedigree of Black Dyke is unparalleled."
The concert offers a rare chance for North Yorkshire audiences to experience the band in the intimate setting of The Garden Rooms.
