A man has been left with 'serious injuries' after being attacked with a weapon on a Teesside high street.

Police are now appealing for witnesses after the man was left with serious arm injuries in an alleged assault involving a weapon in Stockton.

The incident happened on the High Street of the town at about 3.50pm on Tuesday (August 25).
