A parade and service will mark the 86th anniversary of the Battle of Britain next month in Middlesbrough.
The annual commemoration will take place on Sunday, September 13, at the Cenotaph in Linthorpe Road.
It is organised by the 1869 (Middlesbrough) Squadron Air Cadets and will include a short service and wreath-laying ceremony at 11.30am.

Councillor Linda Lewis, Armed Forces Champion at Middlesbrough Council, said: "The Battle of Britain was a pivotal moment in our nation’s history, and our annual Parade and Service is fitting recognition of all those who played their part.
"The people of Middlesbrough will never forget the sacrifice made by the many brave men and women who laid down their lives for the freedoms we enjoy to this day."
The event marks the 86th anniversary of the Battle of Britain, which took place from July to September 1940 and was one of the turning points of World War Two.
