Everything you need to know if you are going to Leeds Festival 2026 to see headliners Charli xcx, Florence & The Machine and Fontaines DC

Fans are flocking to Leeds Festival in their thousands in time for its Thursday night launch at Bramham Park.

Taking place from Thursday, August 27 to Sunday, August 30, the sister event to Reading Festival has more stages and more acts than ever.

Whether you are camping or going on a day ticket, here is our essential guide for anyone going to this spectacular feast of music.

Music line-up

The headline acts set to light up Bramham Park this weekend include Charli xcx, Fontaines D.C., RAYE, Dave, Florence & The Machine and Chase & Status.

Stockport indie rock giants Blossoms have also been announced as a Leeds Festival-exclusive on the Friday night.

Also on the line-up are Sombr, Skepta, Role Model, Jade, Josh Baker, Geese, Kneecap, Kettama, Skye Newman, Declan McKenna, Holly Humberstone, Maisie Peters, Keo and, for the first time ever, a Thursday night headline slot in Leeds from Kasabian.

Saturday: 7.10pm – Charli XCX (19:10). 9.20pm – Fontaines D.C.

Late night sounds

A soundtrack for late into the night and only found at Leeds Festival, this year’s line-up includes the likes of Lens, Soul Mass Transit System, ZERO, CROSSY, Osmosis Jones and more.

Stages

Leeds Festival has seven stages - The Grid (main stage), The Gallery, The Warehouse, The Ballroom and The Canopy which are all housed in the main arena, while LS23 and Piccadilly Party are located in areas between campsites.

The Warehouse is a brand-new, purpose-built dance music stage debuting at the Leeds Festival for the 2026 event.

Opening times

Early bird ticket holders were able to access the site from midday on Wednesday, while weekend ticket holders can get in from 03:00 on Thursday.

The campsite is then open 24 hours a day, and closes at midday on Monday.

The main arena opens from 5pm to 12.30am on Thursday, then 1pm to 12.30am on the three remaining days.

Getting there

Leeds railway station is a 30-minute drive from the festival site, approximately.

There is a shuttle bus service running between the festival and Sovereign Square Park in Leeds city centre - a short walk from the station - and also to and from Wetherby.

Roads

West Yorkshire Police is advising motorists that a number of temporary traffic management measures will be in place around the festival site at Bramham Park from Wednesday, August 26 through to Monday, August 31.

There will be a one-way system in place on York Road (A64) travelling westbound, to allow for the pick up and drop off zone.

The measures also include temporary speed restrictions and clearways on roads surrounding the festival site - designed to improve road safety, reduce congestion, and help ensure the safe movement of the tens of thousands of people expected to attend the event.

Festival attendees travelling by car are also being urged to follow the event signage rather than relying solely on satellite navigation systems.

Dedicated routes will direct different categories of visitors to the correct locations.

Weather

The weather forecast at Bramham Park over the weekend is generally warm with some showers expected.

Temperatures are expected to reach highs of 20°C during the day, with night-time lows of 12°C.
