A sunrise walk along the Scarborough seafront will raise vital funds for hospice care next month.
Saint Catherine’s has launched its annual Sunrise Walk, now in its 18th year, taking place on Sunday, September 27.
The six-mile route will take participants from the Sea Life Centre car park to the Spa Complex and back, offering scenic views of the sunrise over the bay.
Jodi Hatton, event organiser, said: "We are really looking forward to this year’s Sunrise Walk.
"It is such a special, meaningful event and is a real highlight in our fundraising calendar.
"Whether you want to remember a loved one, take part as a team challenge, or simply get your walking boots on for a good cause, there are so many reasons to take part – and you will be helping to make a real difference to our patients and their families."
The walk has raised more than £500,000 over the years to support patient care at the hospice.
The Harbour Bar in Sandside will once again support the event by providing free refreshments at the halfway point.
Registration costs £15 for adults, £5 for children aged five to 18, while under-fives can take part for free.
