Malton and Norton Camera Club members latest work is highlighted in these
Tony Horsfield is a very experienced photographer of insects as shown by the photograph of the “Burnet Moths” this experience has been passed on to other members of the group which has assisted Jackie Ayres to capture the “Bluebottle”.
Sometimes it’s just the Photograph of a place that inspires you to get out and try to capture an image or to visit somewhere different as Nick Webster’s photograph of Faroe Island and Sue Hogarth’s “Sunset at Whitby” make you want to get up and go.
Again the club is planning to enter the Norman Trophy again this year with the theme of “Tools of the Trade” which is to be held at Pockington Club in April 2027.
The Malton & Norton Club is hosting the Brigg Trophy in November which involves all the Clubs of the Yorkshire Coast Photographic Group.
The information on Cameras, Lens and technics are now limited with limited numbers of publication covering new equipment and technics. You came find limited information available on the internet which can be helpful, but sometime a more personnel touch is helpful and this is where a club may have someone with experience pointing you in the right direction or just encouraging you to go out to experiment with your camera or phone.
