MULTIPLE fire crews have been tackling a blaze in a North Yorkshire town this morning (Tuesday, August 25).
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said crews from Bedale, Leyburn, Ripon, Thirsk, Harrogate and Northallerton were called to an industrial building in Masham, near Ripon, at 5.50am.
A service spokesperson said crews have located an electrical fire in a grain store.
In a statement published at 7am this morning the service said the incident is ongoing.
The spokesperson added: "Crews were mobilised to reports of smoke coming out of an industrial building.
"Crews are using breathing apparatus, foam extinguishers and jets."
