A Guinness World Record holder from East Yorkshire is aiming to motivate people to challenge what their limits are.
Angus Leckonby, an athlete from Driffield, is part of a new national campaign by Coca-Cola and Special Olympics Great Britain (GB) that aims to inspire people with intellectual disabilities to believe in their potential and pursue their dreams.
The campaign coincides with the Special Olympics GB National Summer Games, taking place this week and featuring more than 1,200 athletes from across England, Scotland and Wales.
Mr Leckonby said: "People sometimes underestimate what athletes with an intellectual disability can achieve – but I want to show that anything is possible if you believe in yourself and work hard.
"I hope my journey inspires others to give sport a go and have the confidence to chase their dreams."
The games will culminate in a multi-sport event in Birmingham from August 27 to 30, with the potential for some athletes to be selected for the 2027 Special Olympics World Summer Games in Chile.
Mr Leckonby began his journey with Special Olympics GB as a swimmer, competing in events across the country before qualifying for the 2024 GB Aquatics National Championships.
He has since expanded his athletic pursuits, becoming a marathon runner and triathlete.
In 2025, he set three Guinness World Records, including becoming the youngest and fastest male athlete with an intellectual disability (II1) to complete a marathon.
He is one of four athletes featured in Coca-Cola's We Can campaign, which highlights the power of inclusion, opportunity and community sport.
Dusan Stojankic, general manager of Coca-Cola GB, said: "Angus's journey shows what's possible when determination meets opportunity.
"From breaking Guinness World Records to inspiring others to challenge themselves, he's demonstrating exactly why athletes with intellectual disabilities deserve to be recognised as role models.
"We're proud to work alongside Special Olympics GB to help bring stories like Angus's to a wider audience."
Mr Leckonby’s ultimate ambition is to represent Special Olympics GB at the 2027 World Summer Games in Chile.
Special Olympics GB operates more than 100 grassroots sports clubs across 27 sports, offering year-round training and competition for people with intellectual disabilities.
Laura Baxter MBE, chief executive of Special Olympics GB, said: "Angus embodies everything Special Olympics GB stands for.
"His determination to keep challenging himself, combined with his willingness to inspire others, shows the transformative power of sport.
"By sharing stories like his through our partnership with Coca-Cola, we're helping more people see athletes with intellectual disabilities for who they are – talented competitors, role models and ambassadors for inclusion."
The campaign also features athletes Alex Rae, Taylor Mackenzie and Ellie-Bea Thomas.
