While the weather might be a little cloudier than it has been all summer, a trip to the seaside can still be a fun day out for the family.
Taking walks along the beach and spending hours playing old-fashioned arcade games can be fun for everyone.

If you visit Scarborough, you might want to go to the Lifeboat Fish Bar, as many people say it is the best fish and chip shop in the area.
What is the Lifeboat Fish Bar like?
The tiny fish and chip shop can be found a short walk away from the harbour and often has queues spilling out of the door.
The small restaurant only has a few tables if you want to take a moment to relax but you can also take away your food to have while walking along the beach.
The fish and chip shop of course offers haddock and cod with chips with a regular portion size and smaller light bite size to choose from.
You can also have a steak pie, chicken nuggets, or jumbo sausage if you are not a fan of fish.
The shop also has a children’s menu, making it the ideal spot for families.
You can take away your order to enjoy on the beach.
