'Crying on the inside'

The man, who has back problems and struggles to stand for more than 15 minute periods, told the T&A of his shock of being assaulted in broad daylight by a stranger.

He explained that he had never experienced anything like this before and said he is "crying on the inside."

He added: "I've never had anything like this. I had not done anything wrong. I never have any problems with anyone.

"My glasses dropped somewhere. He took my car key.

"Lots of blood came out my mouth."

The man said his friends were able recover his car key which had been tossed on some nearby grass.
