A PODCAST featuring big names and real Yorkshire stories is returning for a third season.

Yorkshire Talks, hosted by TV presenter Christine Talbot and Matt Jameson of Married at First Sight UK, will return on August 25 with a new line-up of guests, including singer Gareth Gates, Emmerdale actress Amy Walsh, Hot Flash star Gaynor Faye, and Leeds Rhinos CEO Jamie Jones-Buchanan.

The podcast, now in its third series, has already racked up more than one million views and listens across platforms.

Christine Talbot said: "We’ve been thrilled with the response to Yorkshire Talks so far.

"It’s a fun and relaxed chat with incredible guests who all have their own unique story to tell.

"We laugh and we cry, but most of all it’s such a wonderful insight into a new generation of Yorkshire folk.

"The brilliant thing about the podcast is that you never quite know where the conversation is going to go – and the objects our guests bring with them often reveal a completely different side to their lives."

Matt Jameson added: "The art of conversation is so powerful, and this season of Yorkshire Talks delves even deeper into the lives of our incredible guests.

"It’s a privilege to share these stories and be part of the narrative on some things we either don’t know much about or never thought to understand.

"Bringing their journeys to life, laughing, crying, and truly feeling the emotion along the way.

"We can’t wait for you to come along for the ride with us."

Sponsored by Patient.info and produced at Chapter 81 Studios in Leeds, Yorkshire Talks is known for its unique interview format.

Each guest brings two objects to the studio: one that represents what Yorkshire means to them, and another with personal significance, often sparking emotional and unexpected conversations.

Producer Simon Fogal said: "Everything we do at Chapter 81 is about making the room feel easy – the lighting, the set, the cameras all doing their job quietly, so the guest forgets they’re there.

"When we get that right, you get the version of someone you’d never get from a straight interview: the belly laughs, the wobble halfway through a story about their treasured moments, all of it."

This season features a mix of celebrities and unsung heroes, from Survivor winner Matthew Haywood to YouTuber Alexis Blake.

Notable episodes include Dr Agam Jung’s account of the journey behind the Rob Burrow Centre for MND and behind-the-scenes stories from the ITVX series Nobody’s Fool, shared by Yorkshire’s own Billy Bowness.
