WALLACE and Gromit are coming to Brighouse in a brand-new way.

Elland Silver Band will bring A Grand Day Out to life with a live brass band soundtrack during a special screening at the Central Methodist Church on Saturday, September 26.

Sam Harrison from Elland Silver Band said: "We're passionate about finding new and exciting ways to introduce people to live music.

"Combining a much-loved film with a live brass soundtrack is a fantastic way to do that.

"It's something the whole family can enjoy, whether you're a lifelong Wallace & Gromit fan, a lover of live music, or you've never been to a brass band concert before.

"And we're particularly excited about giving people the opportunity to pick up an instrument during the interval.

"You never know – we might inspire the next generation of brass players!"

The band will perform the film’s soundtrack live, adding a fresh twist to the classic animated adventure.

Two shows will take place at 2pm and 4pm.

During the interval, audience members will be invited to try playing a brass instrument.

Tickets are priced at £15 for adults and £3 for children under eight.

Booking in advance is recommended.
