A North East music festival is on course for a complete sell-out after organisers revealed just 500 tickets remain ahead of what is set to be its biggest event yet.
Lindisfarne Festival, set to take place at Beal Farm on the Northumberland coast from September 3 to 5, is welcoming more than 250 artists across nine stages and is now officially the fastest-selling edition in the festival’s history.
Conleth Maenpaa, festival director, said: "We're nearly there, and you can really feel the excitement building now.

"This is officially the fastest-selling Lindisfarne we've ever had and, with only around 500 tickets left, we're genuinely heading towards a sell-out."
Headliners for the 2026 event include The Proclaimers, Faithless, and Razorlight.
The line-up also features Soul II Soul, Elvana, Professor Green, Heather Small, Utah Saints, Ferocious Dog, and The Amy Winehouse Band.
The festival, which overlooks Holy Island, will also showcase new and emerging talent from the North East and beyond.

Acts include Sunderland band Swindled, who have had a breakthrough year with support from BBC Radio 1 and a recent appearance at Radio 1's Big Weekend in Sunderland.
Other rising artists on the bill include Leazes, Bear Park, and Finn Forster.
Mr Maenpaa said: "After everything this festival has been through, to be standing here with more than 250 artists, nine stages, a brand-new Disgraceland area and our biggest wellbeing offering ever is pretty special.

"We've got The Proclaimers, Faithless, and Razorlight at the top of an incredible bill, but Lindisfarne has always been about much more than three names on a poster.
"It's about discovering something brilliant in a tent you weren't planning to walk into, staying up far later than you intended and spending a weekend in one of the most beautiful festival locations in the country."
Stage times have now been released, with music running from 3pm to 1am on Thursday, and from mid-morning until 4am on both Friday and Saturday.

An updated site map will also be available ahead of the event.
Located around 50 miles north of Newcastle and eight miles south of Berwick-upon-Tweed, the festival site is easily accessible by train via Berwick station.
A shuttle bus service will operate between the station and the festival grounds.
For those travelling by car, the postcode is TD15 2PB, but drivers are advised to follow event signage from the A1 for the correct entrance.

Camping is included with weekend tickets, and glamping and campervan options are also available.
Parking is chargeable and should be booked online in advance for the best rate.
Organisers encourage attendees to use public transport, car share, or take the shuttle service to reduce the festival’s environmental impact.
Due to recent wildfires in the area, additional fire safety measures have been introduced.
Barbecues, liquid or solid-fuel stoves, and camping candles are not permitted anywhere on site.
Gas camping stoves with canisters under 600g are allowed.
Glass and excessive quantities of spirits are not allowed.
Inside the arena, visitors will find licensed bars and an expanded selection of artisan food vendors.
Beyond the music, this year’s festival will feature its largest-ever wellbeing area, offering sunrise yoga, relaxation workshops, comedy, spoken word, immersive walkabout performances, and late-night entertainment.
Lindisfarne Festival is strictly an 18+ event.
