A popular Teesside restaurant has announced it will close its current premises this month as it prepares to move into a bigger home.
Little Lotus, based in Eaglescliffe, revealed that Sunday, August 30, will be its final day at its Sunningdale location before relocating to a new site.
The restaurant shared the news with customers on social media, describing the move as the start of "something much bigger" after outgrowing its existing premises.
The owners - brother-and-sister duo Charlie and Sadie Eggleston - said they were keeping the location of the new restaurant under wraps for now, but promised further details would be revealed soon.

In a message to customers, the team said: "The secret is finally out - Little Lotus is getting a new home.
"After an incredible journey in our little restaurant, Sunday 30th August will be our final day at Sunningdale.
The restaurant thanked customers for their support since opening, saying the popularity of the restaurant had helped make the expansion possible.
"When we first opened Little Lotus, we could never have imagined the support we'd receive," it said.
"You've filled our tables, celebrated birthdays and special occasions with us, ordered countless takeaways, recommended us to friends and family, and helped turn our little independent restaurant into something we're incredibly proud of.
"Now, we've outgrown our home."

Little Lotus promised that everything its customers have come to enjoy would be making the move to the new premises.
The restaurant said: "We're taking everything you love about Little Lotus, our team, our food, our atmosphere, and probably far too many plants - and moving it somewhere with a little more room for what comes next."
The owners of the restaurant announced the closure of their takeaway premises in Ingleby Barwick last month to focus more time and energy on the main restaurant.
While the new location remains a closely guarded secret, the announcement has already generated excitement among customers eager to find out where the restaurant's next chapter will begin.
