A man has appeared before magistrates charged with drugs offences following a fatal crash on the A66.
Cameron George, 26, appeared at Teesside Magistrates' Court on Monday (August 24) charged with possession with intent to supply class A and class B drugs and possession of criminal property.
George, of Micklow Close in Redcar, was one of 12 people arrested in the aftermath of a crash on the A66 which killed seven people including two Cleveland Police officers.

His case was transferred to Teesside Crown Court and a plea hearing was set for Tuesday, September 29.
George has been remanded in custody until the next hearing.
It comes after nine men and three women, aged between 19 and 61 were arrested on suspicion of several offences, ranging from possession of a firearm to participating in the activities of an organised crime group, after Saturday's (August 22) fatal early hours crash.
