A person has been taken to hospital after a late-night crash on the A66 in County Durham.
The crash happened just before midnight on Monday (August 24) at Bowes.
Police and paramedics from the North East Ambulance Service (NEAS) both attended the collision. It is not yet known how many vehicles were involved.
A NEAS spokesperson said: “We were called to a road traffic incident on the A66 at Bowes shortly before midnight on August 24.
“We dispatched one double crewed ambulance and one patient was taken to Darlington Memorial Hospital.”
Durham Police has been contacted for a comment.
