Search the Public Notice Portal House hunters in Durham are being given the chance to get a first look at a new housing development before homes go on sale, with buyers urged to act quickly amid strong demand in the area.
Miller Homes will unveil its latest scheme, Deerness Rise in Ushaw Moor, at a pre-launch event at St Luke’s Church Hall starting on August 29.
The 21-acre site will include 158 three, four, and five-bedroom properties and is located just a few miles from Durham City.
Lauren Angus, sales director of Miller Homes North East, said: "We are really excited to be able to showcase Deerness Rise and the beautiful new homes we are creating.
"Anyone considering buying a new home in Ushaw Moor can make an appointment to come and see us at St Luke’s Church Hall from August 29.

The pre-launch event will give prospective buyers the first opportunity to view the development, discuss property styles, and learn about guide prices.
Miller Homes is encouraging people to book appointments in advance due to anticipated high demand.
Financial advisers will also be available during the event to help visitors explore mortgage options and assess affordability.
Ms Angus said: "Having access to all that information in one place means prospective buyers can make informed decisions.
"We expect interest to be high, so we encourage anyone interested in living at Deerness Rise to get in touch ASAP rather than miss out on the opportunity to be among the first to hear about the homes being released."
Situated in Deerness Valley, the site offers scenic views of the River Deerness and easy access to both countryside and city amenities.
Its mix of rural surroundings and proximity to Durham is expected to appeal to a broad range of buyers.
Miller Homes has also pledged to invest in the community during the development phase.
The company is funding upgrades to St Luke’s Church Hall, which will serve as the site office while construction is underway.
Improvements include a new kitchen and toilets, heating system upgrades, new flooring, and redecoration throughout.
Ms Angus said: "Deerness Rise is about more than building houses.
