A new independent café has opened in Bishop Auckland, offering customers a place to enjoy breakfast, lunch, freshly made food and coffee.
Café 38 has welcomed its first customers at 38-40 Cockton Hill Road, Bishop Auckland.
The café opened its doors on Monday (August 24) at 8am/
The new venue has promised “great food, fresh coffee and a warm, friendly atmosphere”, with customers invited to stop by for a morning breakfast, a lunchtime meal or simply a coffee and catch-up.
Café 38 said it hopes to provide a welcoming local spot for residents, workers and visitors to the town.
Announcing the opening on social media, the café said: “The wait is finally over. We’re excited to announce that Café 38 is officially opening its doors.
“Come and join us for great drinks, delicious food and a warm, friendly atmosphere.
“Whether you’re grabbing breakfast, meeting friends or simply enjoying a coffee, we can’t wait to welcome you.”
Ahead of its launch, the business said it had been putting the finishing touches to the venue in preparation for welcoming customers.
