Search the Public Notice Portal Plans to introduce new traffic-calming measures on a North East residential road road in Middlesbrough have been unveiled.
Middlesbrough Council has published proposals for Trimdon Avenue Phase 2, covering the construction of road humps and other traffic-calming works.
The notice was published on August 21 and concerns the area covered by postcode TS5 8LS.
The plans include six speed cushions on Trimdon Avenue. They would be placed 39 metres and 120 metres north east of the northern kerb line of Cassop Grove; 33 metres, 123 metres and 200 metres south-west of the southern kerb line of Cassop Grove; and 160 metres north of the northern kerb line of Earlsdon Avenue.
Each speed cushion would have maximum dimensions of about 1.8 metres by 2.5 metres and a maximum height of 75 millimetres.
Two full-width raised flat-top road humps are also proposed at pedestrian crossings. One would be 18 metres west of the western kerb line of Elwick Avenue. The other would be 68 metres north of the northern kerb line of Earlsdon Avenue. Both would have maximum dimensions of about five metres by seven metres and a maximum height of 100 millimetres.
The council says a plan showing the lengths of road affected can be inspected at Central Library, Centre Square, Middlesbrough, TS1 2AY.

The library is open for this purpose from 9am to 5pm on Mondays to Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The notice and plan are also available on the council website.
People who wish to object must send the grounds of their objection in writing to the council within 21 days of August 21.
The notice says that, if no objections are received, the works will proceed without further notice.
