Coming soon: Feast of activities for all the family at Pannal Cricket Gala in Harrogate

Harrogate is to host a traditional family gala packed with fun for everyone this bank holiday weekend after a surge of popular demand.

Sponsored by Renewtech, Pannal Cricket Gala will take place on Sunday, August 30 with a feast of activities at Burn Bridge Lane in Harrogate.

Running from 1pm to 5pm, a new crazy colour run will see participants tackle obstacles, water and a mud bath as colourful powder is projected from cannons.

The activity is open to all age groups, with participants encouraged to wear white T-shirts which will become covered in colour during the course.

It’s open to all age groups and will be running all day.

Also held throughout the day will be a cricket competition to see who can score the most runs.

There will be a dog show for visitors bringing their four-legged friends.

Back with a vengeance will be the famous Pannal Cricket Dunking Stall.

If you manage to hit the target, consider the Pannal Cricket chairman and coaches well and truly dunked in the water!

As always, there will be lots going on for the kids, including bouncy castle and stalls tombola and raffle

Food will be available from a pizza oven and barbecue, there will be tea and cake stalls and, for adults only, a new bar serving Pimm’s, fizz and lager.

The club’s book stall will also sell a selection of pre-loved titles throughout the gala.

Founded in 1874, Pannal Cricket Club prides itself on making everyone feel very welcome.
