A Harrogate building company has gone into liquidation with debts exceeding £3million.
FK Building Ltd of Cardale Park, Harrogate, entered a voluntary liquidation following a vote to wind up the business on July 6.
The liquidator is major liquidation and business recovery company BTG Begbies Traynor.
A report from them known as a statement of affairs says the business, which was incorporated in 2020, had estimated assets to realise of £25,233, namely cash in the bank.

The company had no preferential creditors- those who would be paid first, but it did have a secondary preferential creditors- those who would be paid next- namely HMRC, which was owed £25,618.23.
This left a deficit of total assets available of -£385.23.
The report said there were trade creditors - those who are paid last- owed a total £1,667,530.01.
Other creditors were owed £1,082,598.000.
Furthermore HMRC (non-VAT) was owed £384,029.08.
Accountants were owed £14,800 and Companies House was owed £459.00
This gave an estimated deficiency with regards to creditors of £3,149,839.22.
The company had issued and called up capital of £100, giving a total deficiency or shortfall of £3,149,939.32 outstanding.
