A York motorist was caught smashing the speed limit twice on consecutive days on the same road in a built up area, magistrates heard.
Lee Jefferson, 46, was clocked doing 62mph in a 30mph zone on Kirkstall Road, Leeds, on July 2 last year.
The next day, on the same stretch of road, he was clocked doing 63mph, Bradford magistrates heard.
Jefferson, of Viking Road, Acomb, pleaded guilty to two charges of speeding.
Magistrates gave him six penalty points for each speeding and then banned him from driving for six months under the totting-up procedure.
They also ordered him to pay a total of £883 consisting of a £538 fine, £130 prosecution costs and a £215 statutory surcharge.
