A Scarborough musician will take the stage for a stripped-back acoustic performance.

Freddie Schmuck will perform at the Pot Still Coffee Shop at Spirit of Yorkshire Distillery in Hunmanby on October 31.

Mr Schmuck’s first solo appearance at the site, part of its latest Distillery Session, follows nearly a decade of success with Yorkshire indie-rock band The Feens.

Steve Marson, marketing manager at Spirit of Yorkshire, said: "If you love your guitar-based indie, Freddie’s Distillery Session will be right up your street: a stripped-back acoustic gig here in our super-intimate coffee shop.

"Freddie and The Feens spent nearly a decade building a massive reputation on the UK indie circuit.

"It promises to be another amazing night of live music in our unique setting overlooking the stills."

Tickets are priced at £15, or £25 including a goulash supper or vegetarian option.
