Aldi is offering one household the chance to win a year of free groceries through its new Superfam Pass competition.
The winning family will receive £800 in free shopping each month, adding up to £9,600 over the course of a year.
Alongside this, the winning household will also receive a tailored package of Specialbuys, which could include toys, homeware, and garden equipment.
Rachel Geary, Communications Director at Aldi UK, said: "The weekly shop is a big part of the household budget, so imagine being able to take it off your list of expenses for an entire year.
"That’s what we want to give one household with our first-ever Superfam Pass— £800 to spend at Aldi every month for 12 months, plus a few Specialbuy surprises along the way.
"At a time when households are looking for every opportunity to make their budgets stretch further, we hope taking care of the weekly shop will make a real difference to our winners."
How to get year's worth of free shopping at Aldi
Aldi is calling on households across the UK to explain why they would make a "brilliant first-ever Aldi Superfam".
Aldi is inviting entries from across the UK and is looking for a household that embodies what it means to be the first-ever Aldi Superfam.
It adds: "Whether you’re a busy household that plans every meal around the weekly Aldi shop or you’ve turned the middle aisle into a weekend tradition, Britain’s biggest discounter wants to hear your story."
To enter, households should email ALDISuperfam@aldi.co.uk with the names, ages, and location of family or household members, along with a short explanation of why they deserve to win.
Entries close at 11.59pm on Monday, September 21st and the winning household will be contacted by Monday, October 5.
Aldi to cut price of British strawberries in response to heatwave
Aldi has launched a special offer on British strawberries to help growers manage a significant yield of the fruit.
Shoppers can now get two 227g packs for just £2 as part of a limited-time deal running until Wednesday, August 26.

The supermarket said the offer supports UK growers who are dealing with a sudden surplus of ripe strawberries following a spell of sustained sunshine.
Aldi said the promotion is intended to help move more strawberries through the market, alleviate pressure on the UK crop and reduce the risk of excess fruit being diverted into alternative channels.
The retailer also confirmed that suppliers will continue to receive the same contracted price for their fruit, despite the temporary discount in stores.
