Tesco shoppers can get their shopping for less with an advanced version of its iconic Clubcard.
While having a Clubcard is free and gives you access to deals on groceries, you can ramp up the rewards with Clubcard Plus.
All new Clubcard Plus customers get a free month during which they can trial the service and its benefits, including 10% off groceries in store twice a month and 10% off F&F clothing in store all day every day.
Once the free trial finishes, you can pay £7.99 per month to keep the Clubcard Plus benefits, with the payment automatically taken each month.
To use the service, you’ll need to download the Tesco Grocery & Clubcard app and use it in store to start making use of the discounts.
You can cancel Clubcard Plus any time you want to, including in the first month, but you won’t be able to get the free month trial again as it’s only available for new Plus members.
Sign up and discounts are available when using the Tesco app.
Is there a minimum spend to get Clubcard Plus discounts?
Tesco has assured customers that they don’t need to spend a set amount to get their discounts; however, the supermarket does have a cap on how much money they save.
The 10% coupons for grocery shops, which can be used when buying food, drinks, household items, pet items, flowers and plants, baby items, health and beauty items and more, are limited to saving £20 per shop or £40 per month.
Customers can also use the discounts on branded items such as Paperchase, Tesco Pet, Fred & Flo, Go Play, Go Create, Go Cook and Fox & Ivy.
If you don’t use your discounts, they can’t be rolled over to the following month – instead, you’ll lose them.
Tesco shoppers find Lindt’s Shortbread truffles in stores after relaunch
Lindt’s LINDOR Shortbread truffles have been spotted in Tesco this month as they return following their first launch last year.
They are a limited-edition release and chocolate fans are excited to see them return ahead of the festive period.
The chocolate truffles were posted on the Instagram page @newfoodspotteruk, which shares new items spotted in supermarkets.

People were quick to share their excitement for the return of the chocolates, with one saying: “these are actually stunning.”
