A TRAIN operator's services through York station are expected to operate normally today (Monday, August 24) after a power failure at its headquarters came to an end.
CrossCountry trains issued an update after a power cut yesterday at its control centre in Birmingham.

A company spokesperson said tickets purchased for travel on CrossCountry services on Sunday, August 23 will be valid for travel on its services until Wednesday, August 26 and original tickets will remain valid for travel.
National Rail, the umbrella brand for Britain's passenger railway network, said those choosing not to travel on CrossCountry services today can apply for a refund at the point of purchase.
