York drivers have been warned that a key city centre route will be hit by a closure tomorrow (Tuesday).
Rougier Street will be shut from 7am tomorrow to 6pm on Wednesday.
It affects the road between its junctions with Station Road and Tanner Row.

This is “during the period when crane installation works are being undertaken”, a traffic order states.
The order says vehicles will be diverted via George Hudson Street, Micklegate, Bridge Street, Low Ousegate, Nessgate, Clifford Street, Tower Street, Fishergate, Paragon Street, Fawcett Street, Skeldergate Bridge, Prices Lane, Nunnery Lane, Queen Street and Station Road.
An alternative route for diverted cyclists will take them via Tanner’s Moat, Wellington Row and Tanner Row.
The crane is likely to be needed as part of construction works on a new hotel on Rougier Street.
The old Northern House building has been demolished to make way for a 140-bed Dakota Hotel.
