A police officer was assaulted shortly after the end of York Races on Saturday.
Now they want to trace this man in connection with the incident.
At about 6.20pm on Saturday (22 August) on Scarcroft Hill officers were arresting another person.

A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “A police officer was pushed, causing them to stumble and fall to the ground.
“We believe the man shown in the image may have information that could assist our investigation and are asking him, or anyone who recognises him, to get in touch.”
