A cyclist was hurt in a hit-and-run crash in York.
It happened at about 11.40am on Thursday (21 August) on York Road, Wigginton, near the junction with Holly Tree Lane.
The cyclist was knocked from their bike and suffered a broken ankle.

A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “The vehicle involved failed to stop at the scene. It is described as a dark blue vehicle.
“We are particularly keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision, saw a dark blue vehicle in the area at the time, or has dashcam footage that could assist our investigation.”
