DRIVERS have been caught reaching speeds of up to 115mph.
The offences were recorded on the A629 bypass in Keighley during a targeted patrol by West Yorkshire Police on Sunday.
The force posted images of speed monitors showing vehicles travelling at 90mph, 95mph, and 115mph.
West Yorkshire Police said: "Officers from Operation Steerside regularly conduct proactive patrols including speed enforcement across Bradford District, often in response to community concerns raised through neighbourhood policing meetings.
"The A629 deployment was no exception and it was disappointing to be reporting such significant speeding offences being detected.
"Speed is one of the Fatal 5 offences that directly links to increased risk of death or serious injury on the roads and we will continue to work with internal & external partners to tackle this issue which forms part of Bradford District’s Vision Zero strategy.
"A number of drivers face prosecution as a result of our deployment on the A629 and we will continue to enforce at this and other locations across the District."
