Police are appealing for witnesses and footage after a motorcyclist has been left fighting for his life following a serious crash.

A MOTORCYCLIST has been left fighting for his life following a serious crash in the Bradford district.

The incident happened at around 4.44pm on Sunday on Hebden Bridge Road in Oxenhope near the junction with Hill House Edge Lane.

The collision involved a silver Suzuki SV1000 K3 motorbike, which struck a kerb before hitting a wall.

The rider, a 65-year-old man, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "Police are appealing for witnesses and footage following an incident in Oxenhope which left a motorcyclist with serious injuries."

Yorkshire Ambulance Service confirmed that multiple resources were sent to the scene, including an ambulance and the air ambulance.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or has relevant footage is asked to contact the Roads Policing Unit via the West Yorkshire Police website, quoting log reference 1130 of August 23.
