A walker was rescued after injuring his ankle near Malham Cove.
The incident happened near Malham Cove on Saturday, prompting a response from the Cave Rescue Organisation (CRO) at 3.22pm.
A Yorkshire Ambulance Service request led to the deployment of the team.
A CRO spokesman said: "The team were called by Yorkshire Ambulance Service to help a walker, a 20-year-old male, who had injured his ankle near the Dales High Way bridleway above Malham Cove.
"Members were quickly on scene, supported by our Ranger friends from the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
"After assessment and treatment, he was transported back to his vehicle in Malham where he and his friend were given advice before heading home for further medical care.
"We wish him a speedy recovery."
The Dales High Way is a 90-mile trail linking Saltaire with Appleby through moorland and high ground in the Yorkshire Dales.
