As another summer draws to a close, there have been endless, unforgettable moments across Brookfield Care Home, Currergate Nursing Home, Staveley Birkleas Nursing Home, Fairmount Park and The Clubhouse.
From award recognition and community celebrations to exciting day trips and dream come true experiences, residents have enjoyed a fun-packed few months.
Across the homes, the summer fairs were a huge success, welcoming families, neighbours and local visitors for afternoons of live entertainment, delicious food, fundraising and traditional games.
Residents at Brookfield Care Home have enjoyed several celebrations and excursions. Highlights include a trip to Blackpool, which brought plenty of seaside nostalgia, complete with fish and chips, slot machines and lots of laughter, whilst musical entertainment delighted everyone back at the home.
At Currergate Nursing Home, residents have made unusual new friends, welcoming rabbits and alpacas to fascinating snakes and spiders during popular animal encounters.
The home also introduced an exciting programme of activities under activities coordinator Emma, ensuring there is always something to enjoy, from creative sessions to the ever-popular Barmy Bingo!

Meanwhile, Staveley Birkleas Nursing Home continued its reputation for creating life-enriching opportunities for younger adults living with complex disabilities.
Residents proudly celebrated at Bradford Pride, immersed themselves in world-class performances at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and enjoyed an unforgettable holiday to Butlin’s.
One resident fulfilled a lifelong dream of watching his beloved SSC Napoli play Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium which was a truly special experience made possible by the dedication of the care team.
At Fairmount Park, residents from the thriving retirement community created beautifully knitted post box toppers, while The Clubhouse continued to welcome residents, families and visitors for its renowned home-cooked meals, celebratory lunches and friendly dining experience.
